We have been a leading creative agency force for over 20 years in Denver Colorado. Our work has been seen on Jay Leno and heard on David Lettermen. We have been published as one of the Top 25 largest agencies and rencently, one of the Top 25 fastest growing companies in Denver. We are a very visable agency in Denver and you might of read about us on front page of The Denver Post.
With that said, you would think we are a large staff, not true. We are a boutique (2 or 3 of us); our clients love what we do. We wear at least 4-5 different hats each day. If you are looking for a job with much change then you will like this position. Your responsibilities will change as fast as the Colorado weather.
You will need to multi-task like never before. Some roles you might play:
Creative director
Web designer
Graphic designer
Traffic manager
Name developer
Copywriter
Editor
Account executive (discussing why the artwork works)
Program manager
Taste tester (for restaurant clients)
Consultant
You’ll learn all kinds of new programs and ways of dealing with clients and art. It will not be uncommon for you to deal directly with the client; of course your skills permitting. If you are looking to grow your skills, you will have plenty of opportunity. We feel we are good to our employees. Many have gone on to do great things in the business community. On the artist side, it’s important to know what the position truly looks like. It won’t be uncommon to work on 15-20 projects at a time. Many days, you will be working on 4-6 projects that range dramatically. Our clients love that we can create a concept within days if not hours, so we think fast and create fast.
The Job
Candidate must have 2 to 5 years experience with a portfolio that demonstrates quality design, page layout and website skills.
Candidate must be able to multi-task: work on various projects for a multitude of clients in a fast paced deadline oriented environment.
Good oral and written communication skills is required for interacting with clients and vendors on a daily basis. Candidate must be able to speak intelligently with clients on topics such as: why certain concepts and elements of design will best represent their marketing objective.
Denver Advertising has a reputation of producing quality work that best represents our client’s marketing objective. The candidate will be expected to maintain this standard of excellence at all times.
Must possess good working knowledge and understanding of website design and function along with understanding direct mail rules and regulations.
Must be able to work independently on many projects and carry a project from initial concept to the final printed or launched product.
Must have good working knowledge of offset printing and experience dealing with printers.
Must have ample experience using:

- Hand illustration (would be nice)

- WordPress design
- Server management
Website design experience is essential. Programming skills is a plus. Must have knowledge of website design and maintenance; for example: updating html files by replacing graphics, updating copy, updating links, manipulating code in an html file.
