Client
(The Navigators) Glen Erie Conference Center / Colorado Springs, Colorado
Project
Glen Eyrie came to us wanting to have their conference center become well known throughout the Rocky Mountain Region as a place for retreats that would be life changing. They did not want to be seen as just another venue in a pretty place. They wanted people to recognize all the benefits of their facility and truly immerse themselves in their surroundings when they were there.
Challenges
Glen Eyrie knew they needed to change their look however they were still reluctant to the idea. The ministry after all was over 80 years old. We needed to find a balance of the old and the new ideas and at the same time retain the principals and philosophy of the center.
Objective
Since Glen Eyrie had been around for over 80 years they wanted to reposition their company profile and find a way to reach their demographic in a modern way. They had for so long been seen as the Madrigal during the holiday season. The center was not reaching the intended demographic with outdated methods. They needed a new look and a modern website that would engage the average end user.
* Reposition the company as a conference and retreat center.
* Increase conference attendees.
* Increase website traffic.
Solutions
Prior to producing a new website look and implementing a pay-per-click campaign we needed to establish the companies new updated and modern look. We first produced sales brochures, conferences brochures, direct mail pieces and inserts for various materials. We wanted a cohesive brand that the company could stand behind and be proud of. Next we needed to create their new website look and begin their pay-per-click campaign. When a user received a piece in the mail or a brochure and decided to visit the website we did not want their to be any variations in the brand. In addition to our branding and web based marketing efforts we also consulted with their sales staff to help promote conference attendance.
Results
At the completion of our efforts Glen Eyrie tripled their conferences they offered with attendance up from previous years. Their website traffic increased in addition to online registrations. The entire re-branding was solidified and is continued today with printed materials and highly recognized. They are experience more visitors and they are continuing to grow today.
